Telcon manufactures high performance woodworking tools based on PCD diamond for the machining of all types of wood and wood-like materials. Due to the abrasiveness of the wood, PCD tools life is up to x20 times higher than equivalent carbide tipped tools. In addition, much higher feed rates, of up to 15m/min can be reached, while saving time and production cost.
Another advantage of the PCD tools on carbide tipped tools is the option to resharpen up to x5 times the tools, while improving cost effectiveness. Telcon has more than 30 years of experience in woodworking PCD tools, applications, and customer requirements. Telcon offers the service of manufacturing and resharpening as well.

There are two types of PCD woodworking drills:

  • PCD through hole drills, where holes exit the block material.
  • PCD blind hole drills, where holes are drilled to a partial depth of the workpiece with the requirements of flat hole bottom.
